Professional Experience
Deborah has over 20 years of experience in both public and private accounting with exposure across multiple industries, including sales and service, manufacturing, education, and grocery retail. With a strong background in mid- to large-sized companies, Deborah has accrued years of expertise with responsibilities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. She has often been in roles where she was responsible for translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-accounting professionals.
Her passion for accounting began in high school when she discovered her natural aptitude for mathematics and numbers. This interest led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino, graduating in 2024. She is currently working toward her Masters degree, with a target completion date in 2025, and plans to obtain her CPA license shortly after.
Deborah is actively involved in her professional and academic communities. She currently serves on the Executive Committee for CSUSB’s Beta Alpha Psi group, overseeing student memberships. Additionally, she previously held a senator position on Chaffey College’s Classified Senate, where she helped provide educational services, fundraising opportunities, and scholarships to students and staff seeking to advance their educational goals.
Drawn to RP&B’s welcoming environment and strong sense of camaraderie, Deborah is eager to contribute to the team with her expertise, attention to detail, and proactive mindset. She also looks forward to expanding her knowledge, particularly when auditing companies in the construction industry.
