Professional Experience

Deysi begun her accounting career shortly after graduating from University of California, Riverside in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. After having worked in both retail management and high school education, she transitioned to Accounts Payable for an agricultural nursery in 2020. There, she organized the company’s payment system, including reconciliation of accounts and invoice management system, with the intent of functioning more efficiently and enhancing the quality of vendor relations.

Soon after, Deysi became an accounting clerk for a local aerospace company. In this role, she gained valuable knowledge by overseeing collections, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and more. Eager for additional learning opportunities, Deysi joined the RP&B team in 2023 as a staff accountant in our Tax & Compliance department with the intention of growing her public accounting knowledge and improving on behalf of the firm.

Deysi is a CPA candidate and hopes to receive her license in the coming years.
