Professional Experience

Hina joins RPB’s Auditing & Accounting department as a staff accountant. She began her accounting career in 2019 and brings experience in audit, employee benefit plan engagements, and client service across multiple industries.

Hina earned her Associate of Science in Business Administration from Chaffey College and her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. She is actively studying for her CPA license with the goal of obtaining it within the next two years.

Prior to joining RP&B, Hina worked as an audit associate with JLK Rosenberger LLP, where she assisted with audit engagements for clients in the insurance industry. Her experience includes preparing financial statements, evaluating internal controls, supporting assurance engagements, and working on employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k) plans. She has worked with insurance companies generating approximately $10–15 million in annual revenue across California and Arizona, gaining experience with investment premiums, claims activity, and other industry-specific financial considerations.

Earlier in her career, she developed strong client service and operational skills through roles in the retail sector, including positions with clothing and furniture retailers. In these roles, she managed point-of-sale operations, assisted customers with product selection and credit applications, monitored loyalty program performance metrics, and handled daily cash transactions—experiences that helped build her attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

She was drawn to RP&B because of the firm’s strong reputation in audit services, its commitment to building lasting client relationships, and the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of industries while continuing to grow professionally. Hina strives to bring a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to quality work to every engagement.
