Professional Experience

Lea is an aspiring CPA candidate with a strong academic background and a passion for accounting. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, San Bernardino in 2021, earning both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and her Master of Science in Accountancy in the same year. She has successfully passed her CPA exams and is currently working toward gaining experience in order to obtain her license.

Lea begins her accounting career with RP&B CPAs, initially drawn to the firm’s full-service expertise, growth and learning opportunities, and our commitment to maintaining work/life balance. She is eager to contribute and expand her knowledge in the field.

Prior to transitioning into accounting, Lea worked in the healthcare industry as a pharmaceutical technician, where she processed prescriptions, distributed medication, and consulted with patients. During her time at CSUSB, she was actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi as Treasurer for two years, where she managed the chapter’s finances and budgeting, filing their tax return, and collecting membership fees. She also participated in VITA, a program sponsored by the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, helping individuals in need to process tax returns.

Personal Note

Originally from the Philippines, Lea now resides in Chino Hills, where she is close to her family. She enjoys spending time as an aunt to her 15 nieces and nephews. Inspired by her three older sisters—one of whom is a CPA—she pursued accounting after discovering her natural aptitude for mathematics and love for the subject.

Lea enjoys going to the gym and hiking as ways to unwind and stay active. She has a deep appreciation for travel. One of her most memorable achievements was studying abroad in London, marking her first solo international trip. Her bucket list goals include earning her CPA license, advancing in her accounting career, and traveling to Japan and Italy—especially Venice.
