Professional Experience
Mehvesh initially began her career at BDO USA, LLC in 2007. In 2017, she formed a small accounting firm with a business partner and focused on providing accounting services for small- to mid-sized businesses, including individual tax returns, IRS audits, payroll, small business development, and more.
By 2022, Mehvesh decided to pursue a long-term career in public accounting. At the time of her departure, her client roster reached over 200+ clients with revenues averaging over $1M in industries such as construction, logistics, healthcare, and food hospitality.
Upon joining RP&B CPAs, Mehvesh brings with her an in-depth industrial knowledge given her experience as a small business owner, as well as a passion for professional growth. While she currently holds her accreditation as an Enrolled Agent (EA), she is working toward obtaining her CPA license and hopes to eventually pursue her Master of Science in Taxation (MT).

Personal Note
Mehvesh is the mother of two children, a daughter and a son. She was born in Pakistan and raised in the Inland Empire. In the past, she has volunteered at her Mosque and with the Parent Teacher Organization for her children. She plays tennis as well and loves to explore different cities as an avid foodie looking for new cuisines to experience.
When the opportunity arises, Mehvesh loves to travel the world with her two children. Of her many adventures, her favorite locations include Turkey and Jerusalem. One day, she hopes to travel to the Maldives’ Islands. Additionally, she is fluent in 3 languages: English, Burmese, and Urdu.
